Request a Congressional Inquiry into your lender's actions. California's Senators Feinstein and Boxer have written Inquiries on behalf of Marin County people facing foreclosure.
Sample Letter
Contact your Senator and ask him/her to put homeowners before banks. Use your own words, but here's an idea of what to say:
"This is a message for Senator _______. My name is _______, and I am a voter in your district. Mortgage lenders have received billions of dollars in taxpayer bailout money, while homeowners are not being helped. As a voter, I urge you to put homeowners first."
You can request a Congressional Inquiry into your lender's actions. Senators Feinstein and Boxer have both written Inquiries on behalf of Marin County people facing foreclosure.
